Interim Executive Selection Process

At CDA Interim, we take pride in the fact that we only put forward candidates of the highest calibre, and who are typically overqualified for the interim assignment.

In this way we ensure that we add value from day one, and get results in the shortest possible time.

In most cases, the interim manager is well known to us in terms of their abilities. Where we do add new candidates to our register, we have developed a rigorous process that all potential candidates must pass, this includes:-

  • An analysis of the candidates CV and application form
  • An initial telephone screening interview
  • A face to face interview with one of our managing partners
    • A review of career history and major achievements (job ability)
    • A competency review (attributes assessment)
    • A cultural and management style review
    • Detailed and comprehensive references. (this includes both written references and a follow-up telephone discussion with the referee. It is the follow-up discussion that is the most important aspect of this, and will typically be undertaken by one of the managing partners)
  • In some cases we undertake psychometric testing including:-
    • Verbal reasoning
    • Numeric reasoning
    • Spatial reasoning
    • Personality profiling

Where an assignee is placed, In every case we will review suitability and progress on a regular basis with both the client and the assignee
